It seems like all you are hearing about right now is AuthorityROI, right?

That’s what I call “incredible marketing” – I need to learn me some of that…

And what is Authority ROI, you might ask yourself?

On the surface, Authority ROI sounds like another blogging course.

And I, for one, am very happy that it isn’t.

Authority ROI: The Premise

Imagine someone with

  • years of experience in online marketing,
  • a sizable support team,
  • and some money to burn

…starting a few blogs in different niches.

The goal: position those blogs as authority properties and make money as a result.

Now, take away

  • years of experience in online marketing,
  • a sizable support team,
  • and some money to burn

…and you’ve got an average person who’s starting a blog as a base for their future online business.

You’ve got YOU and I.

So what happens when a person with all those perceived advantages fails?

Where does it leave the rest of us?

That’s what is in the heart of VidTer Review. Some time ago, he was the one with

  • years of experience in online marketing,
  • a sizable support team,
  • and some money to burn,

… and yet failed at building profitable businesses.

But you know what?

I am so glad that Ryan is the one with

  • years of experience in online marketing,
  • a sizable support team,
  • and some money to burn

…because he’s known for putting his

  • years of experience in online marketing,
  • a sizable support team,
  • and some money to burn

…to GREAT use – testing, tweaking, turning things on their heads if need be, and figuring out how to make it work.

Who’s Behind Authority ROI?

I’ve been following Ryan Deiss since I started Traffic Generation Cafe.

As a matter of fact, I’d like to give him a lot of credit for turning this very blog into what you see now – an authority blog on all things traffic generation.

About a month after I started Traffic Generation Cafe, I bought my very first online training and it happened to be Ryan Deiss’ Perpetual Traffic Formula.

It was a $2K course that worth was every penny of it.

That was why, after just 2 months of blogging at Traffic Generation Cafe, my blog looked like an established authority:

I’ve been Ryan’s fan ever since and bought almost every course he ever produced.

And yes, I am also a member of his Digital Marketer community and I constantly apply what I am learning from Ryan to what you see here, at Traffic Generation Cafe.

Becoming an online authority always has its drawbacks.

I’ve been learning that here and there, but Ryan definitely knows what it feels like to be in the spotlight and to have all your work put under scrutiny by people who remind me of food critics: they produce NOTHING, yet criticize everything.

Good thing you and I have brains of our own to test things and then come to educated conclusions about products, services, sites, and people.

I’ve tested Ryan Deiss again and again.

And so far, I’ve never been disappointed.

That’s why I am personally very excited to take a closer look at AuthorityROI.

The Insider Look at Authority ROI Back Office

Authority ROI is now open.

I had to have been their first member; I wonder if there’s a prize for that…

Take a peak over my shoulder as I take my first steps through Authority ROI training:

Authority ROI – What Is It?

As I was following Authority ROI prelaunch videos, I had a bit of a hard time answering this very important question: what the heck is Authority ROI about and who is it for?

Sometimes it’s hard to see the forest behind the trees, isn’t it?

Well, now that I had a chance to take a look at the training, I think I can finally answer that question.

What is Authority ROI?

It’s not a blogging course.

It’s not a niche marketing course (which was my second guess).

Authority ROI will turn you, yes YOU, into a media company.

Let me put it this way: if you were born 20 or 30 years ago, you might’ve started a magazine or industry newsletter.

And that’s a good thing, because Authority ROI model is soooo much easier and SOOOOOOO much more profitable.

You get to become an authority in a sustainable market by using other people’s existing authority.

Who is Authority ROI for?

If you want to branch out and build authority sites in another niche/several other niches.

If you have an existing site that is just not going anywhere, but you know you could make it work if someone showed you how.

If you’ve been wanting to get into niche marketing, but it all sounded too complicated and time-consuming.

I personally fall into this category.

Niche marketing always sounded like fun, but researching profitable niches? building new sites? writing even more content?

Needless to say, I put this idea on the back burner.

However now, it’s on the forefront of my mind.

Ryan made it sound not easy mind you, but doable.

If you want to learn how to leverage your current site better, i.e. how to stop pouring sweat, blood, and tears into it, and learn how to work ON your business and not IN it.

Authority ROI might not be for you, if…

…if you have an existing authority site like Traffic Generation Café and are happy with where you are at with it.

You’ll still be able to get a lot practical knowledge out of the course to take back to your blog to tweak and improve it, but I wouldn’t buy Authority ROI for that.

…if you expect to find some hundreds of hours worth of training in Authority ROI.

After all, the more training, the more valuable that training is, right?

Authority ROI is very concise, precise, and to the point.

If you can simplify a complex idea in 2 paragraphs vs 10, the folks at Authority ROI will do that.

No fluff to “beef up the content” there.

Authority ROI Training

Module 1: Gut Check

Finding sustainable markets for your authority sites – without it, you’ll just be rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

However, intense data mining isn’t necessarily the best place to start either.

Ryan will explain some very simple ways to determine if your site idea holds water. Following his guidelines, I could probably say Yay or Nay to any specific idea within minutes.

If you are stuck for ideas, Ryan has resources to help you get going.

Module 2: Establishing your Brand

Learn to distinguish between your “market” and your “topic”.

Your market is about the “who, and your topic is about the “what”.

Your topic can shift overtime, but your market is your business constant.

Interesting discussion on selecting Personal, Corporate, or Product-Centric brand.

Which one yields more rapid growth? Which one is the most limiting?

Establishing personality and brand voice: this is something I see many bloggers fail at.

Distinguishing themselves from their competition.

Is your brand going to be serious or snarky? Is the glass half empty or half full? Will your language be formal or friendly?

Ryan has an awesome way to find the right voice that matches your personality and your market; wish I would’ve thought about it!

More: choosing the right domain name, creating your elevator pitch, etc.

Authority ROI This and That

No, you don’t have to wait with baited breath just to be hit with a $2,000 sticker shock.

I was very pleased to see that Ryan Deiss has made Authority ROI very affordable: 3 X $97 payments or one-time $241 payment.

Update on the upsells: the upsell was for a complete DONE-4-You Authority site build by Ryan’s team, hosted for a year, all his plugins, a $500 SEO package and $250 in Google Adwords advertising credits.

Now you can have HIS team build out YOUR authority property, AND get the entire AuthorityROI training for ONLY 3 x $97.

There are a few upsells to the training.

1. (see the update above) Ryan’s team will build your very own authority site using their tested themes, plugins, SEO tweaks – the whole nine yards – in a couple of days.

So yes, you CAN be well on your way to become a media mogul by the end of the week.

And the price? Extremely reasonable.

As a matter of fact, I don’t think I could find an outsourcer to do the same for me for anywhere close to the same price.

I am not even talking about the same amount of time…

2. DM Lab – Digital Marketers Lab is where Ryan shares the latest tested marketing knowledge, plus case studies, plugins, software he uses in his own business, etc.

I’ve been a member of DM Lab for a few months now and love the value I’ve been getting out of it.

3. Authority Index community – don’t have any first-hand experience to share with you, but the networking opportunities in this community sounds incredible.
